the owl house was as perfect a kids’ show as it is possible to be. progressive and genuinely beautiful themes, great animation, and some wonderful characters (especially eda). i obvs get why disney would fuck it over the way they did, but it really did deserve as many episodes to tell its story as it needed to. nevertheless, i hope its success allows dana terrace to create the R-rated unlimited horrorfest i, personally, would like to see from her.
